The ielection is made by a formula Bmbining a student's grade point verage and their composite ACT IMia pcores. iitel j Craig was born in Provo, Utah, eetttftie son of Cindy and Michael Maloney. He lived in Provo for the rstseven years of his life, then he !0t jnd his family moved to P.G. :ote In the course of his education, W'ifraig attended Timpanogos, .Grovecrest and Central Elemen- iujf schools, P.G. Jr. High and P.G. 7W School. Craig plans to attend the University of Chicago this fall. He is a Sterling Scholar in science, sci-ence, a subject he h as pursued with vigor. He has successfully passed biology, physics, chemistry, A.P. chemistry, A.P. biology and advanced ad-vanced health occupations, which include physiology and psychology. He previously completed a science sci-ence project that involved the adaptation ad-aptation of fruit flies to insecticide. He is currently working on an evaluation evalu-ation of the method used to determine deter-mine loci in probability analysis. In college, Craig hopes to gain a BAMS in BiochemistyMolecular biology. He would ultimately like to receive a DVM in veterinary science. Craig has been a member of the ballroom dance team. He tutors math and science. Jon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weeks. He has been listed in, "Who's Who among American High School Students," "Outstanding "Outstand-ing High School Students of America," Amer-ica," and has been nominated to be a Congressional Scholar. He has served as a Senior Justice Jus-tice in the Student Government and has been an active member of the FBLA, National Honor Society and Key Club. In his church, he is the first assistant in his Priest's Quorum. He works at a print shop as a press operator and graphic artist. Jon loves sports, and has been involved with football, basketball and cross country. He enjoys fine art as well as every other kind of art as a hobby, but doesn't plan on making a living by being an artist. He observes that, "I enjoy procrastination pro-crastination and always put it first on my list of things to do!" He has been approached by BYU, U. of U. and USU for scholarships, but hasn't yet picked where he will go to this fall. He said that he hasn't as yet picked a profession, but he feels that he is self-disciplined and ambitious, and plans to succeed in everything that he tries. Jon Weeks Craig Douglas Maloney |
