I Kurt Flegal, certified mountain- - " man, was a guest of Mitch's along with grandparents, family mem-bers, 13 ward members, friends and scouts from troop 834. For his Eagle service project, Mitch organized other scouts and painted the emergency entrances and curbs at American Fork Hospi-tal. He has served as secretary, sec- - ond counselor and first counselor in his deacons quorum in the LDS Church. He was senior patrol leader for his scout troop. Mitch is in the ninth grade at Pleasant Grove Junior High. He is active in school programs. He is on the yearbook staff and is in the Young Masters program in art. She especially loves to teach high ; stool students and says they are !;iny, challenging, kind, under-- ' aiding and occasionally exasper- - lneymake each day worth get ting up and coming to school. They frequently coerce her into making a fool of herself on assem-blies, but since she has retired from doing such things, she hopes to be able to teach for several more years. Gil says he is curious, complex, contradictory, congenial, poetical, philosophical, impractical, inde-pendent, mathematical, intellectual, stubborn, studious, bilingual and janitorial. He is a Montana cowboy and went to high school in California and Oregon. His occupations have been a cowboy, miner, chef (in a Mexican restaurant), Spanish-speakin- g appliance salesman, and Geneva Worker. Gil enjoys high school students, especially Foreign Exchange, and enjoys the dedicated, knowledge-able teachers at P. G. High. His addictions are red licorice, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and caramel corn. Brian was born in Lehi. He gradu-ated from Prescott High School in Arizona, University of Arizona and has done post- - graduate work at the U. of Idaho, BYU, NAU, and USU. He is married and has seven children. He has taught at PGHS for eight years. He also taught in Idaho and Arizona. He has been a farm manager, owner-operato- r of a trucking com-pany and manager of a concrete service company. Brian likes to travel and camp with his family, hunt, do anything with horses, build houses, but most of all he likes being an FFA advi-sor. He enjoys watching young people, who are interested in learning, grow and develop their minds.
