Monday's games Tri-L 10, Cook's Wallbangers 1 Tri-L jumped out quickly for five first inning runs and never looked back in their game. David Ratliff, Adrian Clark and Matt Dixon each homered to lead Tri-L to the victory. vic-tory. Plumber's 4, Cream O Weber 3 This game was a defensive battle with a total of only 13 hits for the game for both teams. Lance Gleave and Hal Gillman homered for Plumbers, while Howard Cooper knocked in all three of Cream O Weber's runs with a three run blast in the sixth inning. Johnson's Body Shop 14, Walker Oil 9 In a slugfest, Johnson's Body Shop held off Walker Oil in the last inning to hold on to the win. Bob and Harold Barnes each homered and tripled for Johnson's, knocking in six runs. Wednesday's Games Johnson's Body Shop 7 Cream O Weber 6 Johnson's Body Shop tightened their defense in the last inning holding Cream o Weber's tying run at first base. Jared peck homered for Johnson's, while Greg Sheriff hit the first pitch for Cream 0 Weber for a home run. Sanders (i, Cook's Wallbangers 3 In a matchup of last year's champions, Sanders were finally able to wake up their bats and score more runs than in their previous games combined. Jeff Wolfe led Sanders with a home run and five runs batted in, Tri-L 6, Plumbers 1 Tri-L scored three runs in the sixth inning and three more in the seventh inning before the Plumbers were pulled off the field by their manager, following the ejection of Lance Gleave, forfeiting the game to Tri-L. Lower Division With defending champion Cook's Wallbangers moving to the upper division, the race is wide open in tne lower division. Wils have moved to the top of the league but several teams pose a serious threat. Monday's Games Wils 11, Playboys 2 Wils batted through the lineup the first inning scoring four runs and then cruised to defeat the Playboys. Jeff Wilson came back from back problems to combine with Wayne Keith to hold the Playboys to only six singles for the game. Kentucky Fried Chicken 12 Utah Valley Merchants 4 Kentucky Fried Chicken showed no mercy to the new team barely entered into the league that day, jumping out to a six run lead in the first inning. Comet Chemical Transport 17 Dan Dee's 2 CCT and Dan Dee's were in a light 2-0 ballgame entering the sixth inning when the CCT bats came alive as they scored 15 runs in the inning. Chad Nielson's three-run homer highlighted that inning. Playboys 7, Kentucky Fried Playboys 7 Kentucky Fried Chicken 5 The Playboys came from behind, scoring three runs in their last at bat to defeat Kentucky Fried Chicken. Joe Alvarado doubled in the winning runs with a two-out double. Games are played Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Shannon Field Softball Complex next to the rodeo grounds.
