She was born Nov. 4, 1896 in Lehi to Niels Christian and Johanne Christensen Hansen. She married Henry Marvin Ashton Sept. 18, 1915 in Provo. The marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Jan. 26, 1916. He died March 31, 1968. She served in the Primary, MIA and Relief Society organizations for many years, as a member of the presidency in the Primary and the Relief Society. She and her husband traveled extensively and she continued to travel following his death. She visited all states in the U.S. Earl R. Johnson I Earl Ross Johnson, age 84, Provo, died Oct. 18, 1987 in Provo of cancer. He was born Jan. 11, 1904 in Provo, a son of Abraham Bengt and Eliza Ross Johnson. He attended Franklin School and Proctor Academy in Provo. He lived and worked on the family ranches in Provo and Charleston. He also herded sheep for himself, Ralph Roberts and Delbert Chipman. In 1966, he moved to Altonah, where he and his brother, Viv, raised Hereford Cattle. He moved back to Provo in 1973, where he had since resided with his sister, Mabel Morgan. He was a member of the Utah Farmer-Stockman's Farmer-Stockman's Association, Associati-on, the Utah Wildlife Association and the Utah Farm Bureau. He was born May 5, 1913 in American Fork to David E. and Charolette Dansie Shelley. He married Myra Allen. They later divorced. He was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a steel worker for 20 years. He was an avid gardener and out-doorsman. out-doorsman. He married Colleen Church Nov. 21, 1978 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in musical groups in high school and college. He was a studentbody officer at American Fork High School and a Sterling Scholar. He was a graduate of the University of Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church.
