J Sylvia Elizabeth Larson George Williams, 87, died Monday, May 25, 1987 in Pleasant Grove of natural causes. He was born March 18, 1900 in Evanston, Wyo., the son of Phillip and Louisa Stewart Williams. He married Miriam Winn Theen Sept. 20, 1928 at Laketown, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Dec. 25, 1967. He married Oral G. Willis Feb. 5, 1977 in Provo. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad and Becker Brewery in Evanston, Wvo. H City; two daughters, Betty June Parrish, Trinity, N.C.; Beverly Joyce Wake, Ambay, Wash.; two step-son- s, Orval A. Willis, Orem; Paul G. Willis, a, Calif.; one step-daught- Georgia Lou Turnborn, West Jordan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 17th Ward Chapel, 240 W. Center, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemeterv. retired from U.S. Steel, Geneva Works. Greaves Sylvia Elizabeth Wilimore Montgomery Grossgebauer Larson died May 21 at her home in American Fork of cancer. She was born July 9, 1940, in Pueblo, Colo., to Paul and Viola Quinn Wilimore. She married James E. Montgomery; they were later divor-ced. She married Waren A. Grossgebauer. He died April 1, 1986. She married Gerald M. Larson. They were later divorced. She was member of the LDS Church, where she served as a coach in the YWMIA and was active in the Primary Cameron Alan Montgomery, Price; Scott Paul Montgomery, Castle Dale; Todd Warren Grossgebauer and Cody Gerald Larson, both American Fork; Mrs. Craig (Dayna) Shoell, Pleasant Grove; Darla Kay. Grossgebauer, American Fork; seven grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Wilimore, Ogden; and one sister, Mrs. Byron (Kaye) Nelson, Orem. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 26, in the American Fork North Stake Center. Burial was in the Orem City Cemetery. Travis Ryan Greaves, infant son of Gary N. and Ruth Ann Baum Greaves, died Tuesday, May 19, 1987 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1987 in Provo. His parents are members of the LDS Church, living in the Orem 7th Ward. He is survived by his parents of Orem; two brothers: Gary Greaves Jr. and Robert Giles Greaves, all 5rem; grandparents: Donna Greaves, Lindon; Mrs. and Mrs. Giles Baum, Orem ; great grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Baum, Provo; Jon Vancott, Provo; Latitia Kearns, Pleasant Grove. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 23, in the Orem City Cemetery. program. She enjoyed dancing. She is survived by five sons and two daughters: James Jay Montgomery, Orem; Glen Irvin Brooks Marlow Thomas Stoker , 1 1 Glen Irvin Brooks, 72, died Sunday, May 24, of heart failure. He was born Sept. 24, 1914 in Lehi, to James and Sarah Brooks. He married Fay Melissa Kidd July 12, 1933 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He worked for the Rio Grande Railroad for seven years and was also a mason and a car-pentry contractor for many years. He was a dairyman and the owner of Brookline Farms. He was the first cub scout troop chairman in Lehi and purchased their first flag. He ser-ved as ward clerk supervisor for the Lehi 3rd Ward, was a high priest, a home teacher, and first counselor in Grove, Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Blanco, Lehi; 40 grandchildren; 44 n; five surviving sisters: Reubena Green, Vanda Jacobs, Mrs. Dale (Nita) Brown; Mrs. Glen (Nelda) Carter, all of Lehi; and Mrs. Thomas (Hazel) Lloyd, American Fork. He was preceded in death by a son, Irvin James; two brothers, Lynn and Albert Brooks. Services will be Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 7th Ward, 165 N. 350 West, American Fork. Friends may call at Wing Mortuary in Lehi from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday mor-ning. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Marlow Thomas Stoker, 78, former American Fork resident, died Tuesday, May 19, 1987 at his home in Huntsville of pneumonia. He was born Aug. 5, 1908 in Huntsville, a son of Thomas W. and Emma Anderson Stoker. He married Margaret Hardy May 25, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Huntsville and graduated from Ogden High School. He owned and operated a grocery store in American Fork for several years before moving to Pleasant Grove where he worked at Geneva Steel until retiring. He was a member of the Huntsville LDS daughters: Richard M. Stoker, Lehi; Dennis Stoker, Billings, Mont.; Stephen Stoker and Neal Stoker, both Orem; Mrs. Robert (JoeAnn) Johnson, Sandy; Mrs. Dale (Patricia) Steiner, American Fork; Mrs. David (Madge) Peasley, Layton; 35 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three brothers, three sisters: Carl Stoker, Huntsville; Ellis Stoker, Billin, Mont. ; Vern Stoker, Leona Hokanson and Edna La Von Willey, all Ogden; Arvella Frazier, Bakersfield, Calif. Services were held Friday, May 22, at the Huntsville First Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery. the Sunday School Presidency in the American Fork 7th Ward. He is survived by his wife of American Fork ; two sons and four daughters, Burton Ray, American Fork; Jerry Lynn, Highland; Mrs. Andrew (Glenna) Wignall, Mrs. Darrell (Janice) Criswell and Mrs. Richard (Lorna) Bezzant, all of Pleasant Ward, where he had served as president of the MIA, Sunday School teacher, ward clerk, High Priest group leader, bishop and recently was an Ogden LDS Temple worker. He and his wife served an LDS mission to Independence, Mo. He is survived by his wife of Huntsville; four sons and three Charles E. Strasburg Marjorie E. Wright Charles E. Strasburg, 68, of Pleasant Grove, died Monday, May 25, 1987 at his home following a long illness. He was born July 6, 1918 in American Fork to Evar M. and Esma Goode Strasburg. He married Hazel West Sept. 28, 1937 in Provo. He was employed in construction and later at Geneva Steel for 24 years. He retired in 1972. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 16th Ward. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons and three daughters: Mrs. Gordon (Julia Ann) Hawkins, Provo; Joan Jeppson and Thomas Evar Strasburg, both of American Fork; Charles Lynn Strasburg and Steven Lee Strasburg, both of Lehi; Mrs. Jack (Barbara Jean) Wilkinson, Lindon; 16 grand-children; two brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Chidester and Glen Strasburg, both of Highland; Mrs. Dean (Ila) Adams, Lindon; Leland Strasburg, Calif. Graveside services will be Thursday at noon at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Wright, 71, of ' Weiser, Idaho, passed away Wed-nesday, May 20, 1987 at the Weiser Care Center. She was born Dec. 25, 1915 at Howell, Michigan, a daughter of Volney and Emily B. Knoop Curdy Miller. She grew up in Howell j and graduated from the University of Michigan. She taught school in Michigan for a while and then worked for the Michigan State University Forestry Department. She married M.S. (Mike) Wright March 20, 1947 at Lansing, Mich. The couple lived in Pleasant Grove, McCall and Weiser, Idaho for most of their life where Mr. Wright worked for the U.S. Forest Service. He retired in 1980 and the couple moved to Weiser. She is survived by her husband, Weiser, Ida.; two sons, Michael Wright, Los Angeles, Calif. ; James Wright, Toronto, Canada; a sister, Arlene Grof, Bradenton, Fla. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, May 23, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, Idaho. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove and spent her childhood days there. She later attended BYU where she received her Bachelors Degree and the University of Utah where she received her Masters Degree. She had taught in the public school system in' Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Nev., and California. She had recently taught the hearing impaired in Alpine School District. She was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Grove Ward. She is survived by her husband of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Richard Seely, San Jose, Calif.; her parents of Pleasant Grove; a sister, Mrs. Frvin (Barbara) Pack, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
