Show PUBLIC NOTICES Public Notice Advertising Protects Your Right lu tnow Special bond election notice : To all qualified electors of Lindon City, I Utah County, Utah: Take notice that on the 18th day of August, 1987, a special bond election will be held in the Municipality of Lindon City, Utah County, Utah, at the places set out below for the purpose of submitting sub-mitting to the qualified i electors of the Municipality the ! following proposition: Shall the City Council of Lindon City, Utah County, Utah, be authorized to issue irrigation water revenue sharing bonds of said city in an amount not to exceed one million six hundred forth thousand dollars ($1,640,000) to be due and payable in not to exceed twenty-five (25) years from the date of said bonds; said bonds to be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying all or portion oi the cost of installing a secondary irrigation water system, and for payment of expenses reasonably incurred in connection with the acquisition and construction con-struction of said improvements im-provements and the authorization and issuance of said bonds? Said election will be held at the following polling places, and the persons indicated as follows will act as election officials: Regular Consolidated Polling Election Votlnt Dlatrlct Voting District Place Officials 1 and 3 1 City Hall Myrl Jarvis 383 West 300 North Ila Johanson Llndont Utah Marilyn Kunic 2 and A 2 Lindon School Carol Chidester 30 North Main LaRae Allen Lindon, Utah Linda Preece The voting at such special bond election shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the City Council of Lindon City to the election officials who, in turn, will furnish them to the qualified voters. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be no special registration of voters for the special bond election, and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election; except ex-cept that the County Clerk of Utah County will register as provided by law at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the ten-day period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who is or will be 18 years of age or older and who otherwise will be a qualified voter on the day of this election. The County Clerk will make available, or will cause the registration agents to make available, at the above-described above-described polling place, a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place(s). NOTICE is further given that on Aug. 19, 1987, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after said election, the City Coucnil will meet at its regular meeting place at 7 p.m. to canvass the returns and declare the results of said election.
