The week-lon- g program helps FFA members improve leadership skills, develop an understanding of national heritage, and prepare for more effective leadership roles in their chapters and communities. Sessions on human relations, goal setting and personal com-munications develop these skills. Personal outlook, motivation and pride are also discussed. Visits to Mt. PUBLIC NOTICES Public Notice Advertising Protects Your Right lu tnow Special bond election notice To all qualified electors of Lindon City, Utah County, Utah: Take notice that on the 18th day of August, 1987, a special bond election will be held in the Municipality of Lindon City, Utah County, Utah, at the places set out below for the purpose of sub-mitting to the qualified i electors of the Municipality the following proposition: Shall the City Council of Lindon City, Utah County, Utah, be authorized to issue irrigation water revenue sharing bonds of said city in an amount not to exceed one million six hundred forth thousand dollars ($1,640,000) to be due and payable in not to exceed twenty-fiv- e (25) years from the date of said bonds; said bonds to be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying all or portion oi the cost of installing a secondary irrigation water system, and for payment of expenses reasonably incurred in connection with the acquisition and con-struction of said im-provements and the authorization and issuance of said bonds? The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be no special registration of voters for the special bond election, and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election; ex-cept that the County Clerk of Utah County will register as provided by law at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the ten-da- y period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who is or will be 18 years of age or older and who otherwise will be a qualified voter on the day of this election. The County Clerk will make available, or will cause the registration agents to make available, at the above-describe- d polling place, a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place(s). NOTICE is further given that on Aug. 19, 1987, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after said election, the City Coucnil will meet at its regular meeting place at 7 p.m. to canvass the returns and declare the results of said election.
