Craig enjoys farming far-ming his 15 acres, working with his horses and cows, hauling hay and just being around animals. Dave and his wife, Dora, are the parents of six children. They have seven grandchildren. Dave enjoys playing racquetball early in the mornings several days a week. Known as Roy Smith, he began a family tradition which has reached down to his grandson, Craig, who co-owns co-owns the store with his partner, Dave Faux. Craig is the son of Harvey Smith, who was the former owner of the store, along with his brother Don. Both men still work at the store occasionally. Located at 10 South Main, Smith Drug Co., is opened Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Craig said he feels their store's best selling point is that they are small enough that they can give personal attention to people but yet they have made, use of the latest equipment so that they can offer the most up-to-date service. They have computer prescription filling which is a great service for customers. He added that even though they are small they can be competitive in their prices and offer a large selection of products to the public. They have tried to affiliate with products which offer the very most possible to the customers, Craig noted.
