Show Beth and Rollo Blackhurst to be honored on anniversary r . K. - X 'i . WW' P- 1 -i I i f "' ; y i , 6 ' ' t The children and grandchildren of Rollo and Beth Berry Blackhurst will honor their parents on their Golden Wedding Anniversary at an open house Saturday, Nov. 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Manila Ward Cultural hall, 3896 W. 800 North, Pleasant Grove. They request the pleasure of the company of their family and friends. The couple were married Nov. 18, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Rollo was born in Pleasant Grove and has liyed in the area most of his life. In 1976 he retired from Geneva Steel. He now enjoys his yard, garden and grandchildren. Beth was born and raised in Cedar Valley. She enjoys ceramics and her grandchildren. Both have been active in the LDS Church, holding ward and stake positions. In 1979 they filled a mission to Iowa. They have five children; Reese Blackhurst, Mrs. Dwayne (Brenda) Allen, both of American Fork; Michael Blackhurst, Pleasant Grove; Clint Blackhurst, Colorado; Beth and Rollo Blackhurst and Mrs. Don (Marcia) Peterson, Lindon; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. |
