( - " "j That experience is prevalent at the American Fork Hospital can be seen by the years of devoted service given by many of the employees at the medical facility. Personnel at the American Fork Hospital were honored recently by the administrative staff for the years of service with service awards given to those who have served five years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years at the facility. Melba Houtz, Central Processing, and Barbara Leonhardt, R.N. in Same Day Surgery, were honored for 25 years service at the hospital. Rhea Pulham, a supervisor at the hospital who has retired but still serves "on call" was recognized for 20 years service. Fifteen year awards were presented to Barbara Spotts, Cen-tral Processing; Betty Nichols, Operating Room; Joyce Forsyth, Medical; and LaRae Bezzant, housekeeping. Pat Roberts, Emergency Room; Jackie Nielsen, Recovery Room; Vicky Valerio, Women's Center; Paula Faddis, Radiology; Dennis Hartle, Respiratory; and Carol Laycock, Laboratory, received ten year service awards. Five year awards went to Carol Hadlock, Quality Management; Kerri Kopinsky, Women's Center; Lorna Stalker, Same Day Surgery; Lila Jensen, Intensive Care Unit; Gail Clyde, Infection Control; Margie Olsen, Pediatrics. Also Gail Angus, Medical; Mary Reynolds, Medical; Helen Ellison, LaRae Bezzant, 15-ye- ar employee at American Fork Hospital, shows pin she received at hospital awards ceremony. Surgical; Jann Christiansen, Medical Records; Shirley Clements, Kay Madsen, Judy Taylor, all Dietary; Nancy Edwards and ' Brenda Oldroyd, Data Processing. And Dru Eckersley, Emergency Room; Paulette Sorensen and TerryMarchbanks, Business Office; Alana Ovard, PBX; Donna Lowe, Central Distributing; and Valerie Lorensen, Women's Center. The awards were presented by Craig Smedley, hospital ad-ministrator, who expressed his appreciation for the dedicated service of all of the hospital's em-ployees. American Fork Hospital to host Curt Brinkman The public is invited to come and ,isten to Curt Brinkman, this year's Lial guest speaker at American Fork Hospital during National Hospital Week, on Tuesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. cJrt is n to this area and has received various honors. His lengthy achievements in sports make him well qualified to address Die subject of "Fitness and Health." Curt is a winner. He has com peted in many marathons and holds the world record for the Boston Marathon. He is a successful businessman, author, husband and father. Curt serves on several boards and is active in his church and civic duties.
