Alpine Credit Union opens in American Fork Alpine Credit Union has opened offices in the American Fork Center, go East State Road, for convenience rj the many residents in the north . ffld of Utah County. The office will be open from 10 ajn. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday hours of 9 a.m. to 12 noon are planned for the near future, according to Jim Byron, manager. Grand opening ceremonies will be Oct. 21 through 25, he said. Several prizes will be given away during the grand opening, including a stereo, color television, and your ( choice of $1,000 or a trip for two to Hawaii. Byron said the credit union offers full banking including checking, savings, personal loans (auto, installment, in-stallment, etc.), and even discount movie tickets. Accounts are insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Association) for up to $100,000. The Alpine Credit Union is open to all employees and students in the Alpine School District and their families. "We are excited to be here (in American Fork) and to be able to serve our customers more conveniently," con-veniently," Byron said. About one-half of their members are from the American Fork, Lehi, Pleasant Grove area, he said. Byron is joined by tellers Karen Louder and Glenna Kohler in welcoming customers to the firm. Byron is vice president of the Alpine Credit Union and has been with the main office in north Orem for .about 10 years. The new American Fork office is the third to be opened by the credit union. |
