Show Police report car burglaries Jay Whatscott, 1277 N. 500 East, told Pleasant Grove Police that several items were stolen from his car while it was parked at the laundromat at 100 W. Center. A back pack, fishing pole and reel valued at $50 and a tackle box with items valued at $200 and a CB radio valued at $150 were taken, according to Officer Bert Bean. Kenneth Manley, 546 E. 400 N., Lindon, reported that a hub cap had been stolen while his car was parked at the Pleasant Grove Rodeo Grounds. Officer Dave Vickers investigated the incident. Mark Hales, 491 E. 100 S, returned from vacation to find that someone had entered his car and taken a power booster and two stereo speakers. No value was listed, according to Officer Cody Cullimore. Lowell Baxter, 75 S. 500 E., reported that two Pioneer stereo speakers valued at $75 and a tape box with tapes valued at $150 were taken from his van. Officer Cullimore investigated. Julie Gillman, 100 W. Adams Lane, reported the theft of a 1982 Yamaha Y-Zinger valued at $400. The item was recovered on Monday morning. Vandals broke a thermal pane window at Pleasant Grove Junior High School valued at $200. There are no suspects, according to Officer Jeff Wilson. Vandals also broke a large window at the home of Robert Richardson, 599 E. 100 S. The window was valued at $150. Kids playing ball may have been the cause of the accident, Officer Cullimore noted. A male adult was arrested by Sgt. Don Aucoin for indecent exposure. A 17-year-old male has been referred to juvenile court for illegal possession of alcohol. An adult male was arrested by Sgt. Aucoin for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on suspension. |
