Show Hundreds of eggsters scour park for treasures In celebration of Hauler and a l,)nK awaiUd BprinK. the annua KiwUt Km Hunt was held Saturday, April 2 in the 1 )ownUwn l'ark. , Hundreds of children and their families showed up U) reenter and participate in the hunts. Children wore allowed to participate in specific an- Kroup hunts only. Alonn with the c andy hidden in the Tass and shrublx-ry, were M) pl-istif eggs containinn instructions. Those who found the lucky eggs were off te. visit the load merchants and receive discount and prizes. The large groups of children were eager, and were hurried by the brisk morning air. The event Uxik place ,.,m,.wh:it faster than was anticipated. Those who participated enjoyed their discoveries, and those who watched enjoyed the children s anxious participation. Many local merchants were more than generous with their time and with their donations toward this community event. Special thanks goes to Adventureland Video and to the I'leasant drove Kecreation Center for their time and efforts in planning and organizing the hunt. Adventureland, Storage Enterprises, Robert's Beauty Salon, Rill's Ixck, Ijttle Rit Country, and the Bungalow covered the costs incurred with generous donations toward candy and colored eggs.
