She has served more 10 years as Den Leader, Den ! er Coach, District Training imian, District Day Camp ; member of the Troop ; Sit and Merit Badge ; has received the Scouter's i AAwal. Her tloats are well-known in parades in this area as she uses them to promote the Scouting Spirit. Joan has worked in the LDS Church as well as in various civic positions. Joan is the mother of five sons, two of which have earned then-Eagle then-Eagle award and the others are on their way. She has been Philmont trained in the Cub Scout basic and supplemental training and Boy Scout basic. She is a member of the Pleasant Grove Garden Club and is a student judge for standard flower shows and flower arranging. Dean was recently released as scoutmaster in Troop 833 of the Pleasant Grove 11th Ward. He has a tenure of 14 years in scouting serving as Districts Training Commissioner, Assistant Scoutmaster, Blazer Scout Leader, member of Troop Committee and Scoutmaster. He is the recipient of the Second Miler Award and has attended Wood Badge Training. He worked with boys to build a 20 foot high pioneering tower for Scout-a-Rama as well as a timber pole ferris wheel. A machinist at Geneva Steel, Dean is the father of eight children and has one granddaughter. He enjoys hunting, fishing and camping in his spare time. Keith has been involved in scouting for more than 16 years. He is presently registered as Unit Commissioner in the Timpanogos District. He has served as Explorer Advisor, Scoutmaster and is Wood Badge trained. He has received the Second Miler Award. He has been responsible for reactivating an Explorer Post and has been a source of encouragement for young men to achieve the rank of Eagle. He has helped with training sessions on every level. Keith is an active member of the LDS Church. He has served in professional organizations and was president of the Kiwanis Club. He is a dedicated civic worker. He has been willing to give of his time and means to help the cause of scouting. |
