Of the 7,855 students enrolled during that quarter, just 508 earned a 3.50 or better grade point average. Only 245 received a grade point average of 3.76 or better, which qualified them to be included in the President's List. However, 125 of those earned a straight 4.0 GPA. Dean of Students Judd M. Morgan comments that there are virtually no "easy classes" at Utah Tech. "Students really have to prove their worth in order to be named to the Honor Roll. That is why it is a significant achievement to be listed on either roll. I commend those who have made the effort." As Utah's technical community college, Utah Tech is the state's fourth largest public post-high institution. in-stitution. It provides 60 programs in which students may enroll, and in addition has a growing school of continuing education, as well as providing classes in general education. e |
