Show At Greenwood School Hike to fight arthritis It's hike, bike and fight the nation's numlxT one crippler arthritis at a state-wide rally May 21, sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation and Clover Club Foods. The third annual event, being held in nine cities in Utah, will take place in American Fork at the Greenwood School. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The event will feature a hike and bike path of 1 1 miles to lx' completed by participants for sponsored funds. 'The HikeHike for People in Pain supports better medical care and service for arthritis victims, who range from as young as one month old," says K.V. Sanders, president of ('lover Club Foods. "More than 1,(XX) ptsoplc are expected to participate from Cedar City to lxgan." Following the event, prizes including bicycles and t -levision sets will be awarded to the winners. The grand prize is a trip for two to 1 )isneyland. All participants will be treated to samples of (Mover Club chips and free sweat bands.' Arthritis is a serious and painful health problem affecting over 31 million Americans, 250,000 of which are children. Clover Club foods, located in Kaysville, Utah, is one of the largest independent snack food manufacturers in the country, and distributes its products in eleven western states. Sponsor forms for the HikeBike can be obtained on all bags of Clover Club potato chips and in local sporting goods stores and libraries. |
