Show a ' i f'A.I, : RUSSELL MAKIN Russell Makin Receives Eagle Badge Russell Makin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Makin, has received his Eagle Badge in ceremonies held recently.- Russell is the oldest of five children and was born in American Fork, on May 20, 1966. He lived in Pleasant Grove until the age of three and then spent a year in Kaysville. The family lived in Coalville the next five years where he first became a Cub Scout in a very small den consisting of himself and two other boys. He enjoys swimming, camping, off-road cycling, and basketball. Russell has attended Troop Leadership Development at Maple Dell. He is a member of Order of the Arrow and spent two summer camps at Thunder Ridge near Cedar City. He has also attended the Merit Badge Pow Wow's at BYU annually which has been a great help in reaching this rank in scouting. He has served as Deacon's Quorum President and Senior Patrol Leader in his ward. He has been on the High Honor roll or honor roll for the past two and one-half years. He is a ninth grader at PL Grove Junior High School. |
