Show Don J. Black to Speak at Regional Meeting, Utah Association of Women The Utah Association of Women will hold a Regional Meeting at the Pleasant Grove Jr. High School at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Don J. Black will present pre-sent a lecture "Fill, For the Generation Genera-tion Gap," A lecure specifically geared for parents and how to love and understand unders-tand their children. This is a comparable com-parable lecture given at BYU last summer to a standing room only audience, au-dience, with necessity to repeat the entire series each day of Education Week to patrons who couldn't find standing room or seats. Dr. Black draws on a rich background of resource for this delicate and needed subject. He has taught and counselled teenagers for nearly two decades, held over 1800 lecture classes throughout the U.S., Canada and Hawaii. His educational background includes in-cludes a Graduate Certificate in Aerospace Studies from El Paso, Texas, a BS degree from BYU. MS & PhD from Calif. Western University. Dr. Black has authored several books including his top selling, "Warm Tones and tiny Miracles," "The students... My Friends" and many others. He has worked extensively with youth in the area of drug abuse, moral and criminal cases, which dedication merited the Distinguished Service Award by his community. He is listed in the Presidential Award Volume "Out Standing Young Men of America." He is a distinguished speaker adolescent authority, counsellor and author - a man that loves his God, his family and country. All interested persons are invited to this timely lecture presentation. |
