Show Answers Given on Tax Relief Because of many questions ques-tions not answered the Review publishes the following information on the tax relief program pro-gram which applies to most Utah residents. To qualify for a rebate, you must be a Utah resident for all of 1979. You must not live in housing which is exempt ex-empt from property tax and you must not be claimed as a dependent on someone else's income in-come tax return. The following instructions instruc-tions are for each type of claimant. Senior Citizen and Widow or Widower Homeowners and Widow You qualify for the senior citizens circuit breaker credit if you are over 65 or a widow or widower and have income in-come under $7,000. Your aplication form (TC-)40S.P.) should have been sent to your county auditor by July 1, 1979. If you missed the deadline you can file directly with the State Tax Commission. You may also qualify for the General Homeowners Credit described in the next item below. General Homeowners Your forms (TC-40G.P.) will be attached to your property tax notice which will be sent to you during October. The form should be completed and returned to the Tax Commission by Dec. 31, 1979. Genral and Senior Citizen and Widow and Widower Renters Your forms (TC-40R-P.) have been mailed to all addresses with apartment numbers. If you have not received your forms, you should contact the State Tax Commission. Your general refund is 2.7 of your annual rent, but not less than $100.00. If you are a senior citizen or widowwidower with income under $7,000 you are entitled to a Circuit Breaker refund in addition to the general refund. General and Senior Citizen and Widow Widower Mobile Home owners and Renters Your forms (TC-40M.P.) have been delivered to all mobile home parks by your county assessors. If you have not received your forms, you should contact the State Tax Commission. Your refund is 27 of your property tax and 2.7 of your rpnt piJ, but not less than $100. If you are a senior citizen or widowwidower, you are also entitled to a Circuit Breaker refund. You may pickup your refund form at any Tax Commission office, your County Court House, or at most of your Senior Citizen Centers.
