Show Beat Colts 19-6 ... Eagles Go Undefeated to Claim Crown by Jeff Jackson The Little League Eagles went through the season undefeated as they beat last year's league champs, the American Fork Colts, 19-6 last Saturday. Totally dominating the game from the opening kickoff, the Eagles drove 60 yards with Brian Biggs hitting hit-ting pay dirt. By converting con-verting the PAT the Eagles led 7-0. A Colt comeback was stopped by a tough Eagle defense that forced for-ced the Colts to punt the ball away most of the game. Biggs scored again in the second quarter on a six-yard scamper up the middle and the half ended en-ded 13-0 for the Eagles. Both teams came out fired up to start the second half but the Eagles held. With Mikay Robinson, Biggs and Jason Allred offering of-fering an effective running run-ning game, the Eagles got on the score board again with Allred carrying it on a Q.B. keeper around right end. Robinson cut short a Colt drive with an interception in-terception but late in the game the Colts blocked an Eagle punt to set up their only T.D. The final score by the Colts made it 19-6 for the Eagles.
