Show Funercl Services Held Tuesday for RuthS. Fage Funeral services for Ruth Sylvania Fage, 82, who died Oct. 9, 1977 in an American Fork Hospital, were held Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, under the direction of Bishop Wayne Johnson of the Lindon Third Ward. Speakers at the services were Bill Keetch, Stanley Walker, and Bishop Johnson, also gave brief remarks. A life sketch was given by J. Albert (Buddy) Hancock. Muscial numbers were a vocal solo by Jeanette Crooks, accompanied by Joye Gray, a vocal solo by Wilma Taylor, accompanied by Donna Don-na Walker, and a vocal solo by Carol Meyer, accompanied by Catherine Rees. Rena Friant played prelude and postlude music. Prayers were given by Fred Keetch, Clarence DePriest, and Kenneth B. Manley, and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Lynn H. Gray. Pallbearers were Keith Johnson, Westley Walker, Cyril Walker, Paul Fage, Jess Ash and Verlond Ash, and honorary pallbearers were Fred Fage, Brian Gray and Robert and Alan Manley. Ruth Sylvania Fage was born Feb. 14, 1895 in Lindon to Frederick William and Mary Bowman Slaugh Fage. She was a member of the LDS Church and a registered nurse. Survivors include a sister. Bertha Ash, Orem; a sister-in-law, Olive B. Fage, Lindon, 17 nieces and nephews. |
