Show Homecoming Week at PGMS Stats on Monday Next week will begin the exciting ex-citing Homecoming at PGHS. It will start Monday when the classes decorate the halls with posters for the big Friday game. In each homeroom, students will guess the score of the Fri game. The Homecoming Queen Pageant will be at 8 Monday evening to see who will be the queen and attendants for the week. The decorated halls will be judged Tuesday. Every one should get involved. Wednesday will see the Homecoming Parade with competition com-petition between the classes taking ta-king place. Every club and class should be involved. Wednesday Wed-nesday will also be blue and white day. All the teachers who forget to wear blue and white will be tortured at the Yell Contest on Friday. Thursday there will be an assembly, featuring the alumni. alum-ni. Everyone is invited. The bonfire will be at 8 o.m. on Thursday night, with more competition between classes. The contest will involve the amount of wood collected by each class. Friday at 5 p.m. is the big game with Springville. There be a yell contest at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. There will also be class displays on the football field. The Homecoming Dance will start at 8 p.m. and feature the group "Copperfield." Cost is $1 a head or $1.75 per couple. The Homecoming Pageant is under the direction of cheerleaders cheer-leaders Jenny Bracken, Kelly Harris, Charlyn Harper, Jana Bezzant and Debbie Jo Pace. The other activities of the week are going to be under the direction dir-ection of the student council, Evan Gillman, Brian Carter, Debbie Davis, Ellen Walker, Elaine Schaelling, Mike March-banks March-banks and Sally Nelson. Student officers would like the town to get involved in the Homecoming activities next week. This invludes the football foot-ball game on Friday. Let's see you all there. |
