Pleasant Bmve Mmmns Club Installs Officers on Saturday Members of the Pleasant Grove Kiwanis Club and their wives were welcomed to the regular Ladies' Night at the Bungalow last Saturday evening, even-ing, Sept. 15 by Louis Gardner, club president. Guests for the evening were Lt. Governor Clifford Crandall and his wife Grave from Springville and Lt. Governor-elect Governor-elect Milton James and his wife Norma of Orem. After a delicious meal, the remainder of the meeting was devoted to the installation of officers for the 1973-74 year, and also the release of the past year's officers. As an introduction to the program, Merrill Warnick gave a short history of Pleasant Grove and following the installation instal-lation ceremony, Mr. Jameson talked to the 1973-74 theme for Kiwanis International, "Give of yourself by contribut ing to the solution of Community Commun-ity Problems." Installed as officers for the coming year by Lt. Governor Crandall were LaMont Brown, president; Louis Gardner, past president; Boyd Fugal, president-elect; Harvey Rawlinson, secretary-treasurer; and Kenneth Ken-neth Harvey, Mark Johnson, Homer Robertson, Rollo Black-hurst, Black-hurst, A. B. Gibson, J. LeRoy Thorne and Charles Jones, as board of directors. |
