Show Firemen, Wives Hold Christmas Party on Monday When the fire siren rang on Monday evening, every fireman fire-man and his wife were present for their annual Christmas party. par-ty. Councilman and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Green were special guests. The tables were beautifully decorated and were arranged with jeweled baskets of poin-settias poin-settias and tiered candles. Following Fol-lowing prayer by Robert Mar-rott, Mar-rott, the group enjoyed a delicious de-licious Chinese dinner. Chief Fred Keetch spoke briefly brief-ly thanking members for their support and announced that at the election held previously, Calvin Mills, William Robbins, Glade Hilton and B Cobbley were named Captains, Don Fenton secretary and Don Smith, treasurer. Also re-elected were Fred Keetch, Captain and Ford West Assistant Captain. Chief Keetch complimented the party committee for the parties during the past year and especially the Christmas party. The committee consists of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Gray, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Zufelt, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Smith and Mr. and Mrs. James Gibson. Firemen's wives were each presented with a Christmas gift. The remainder of the evening even-ing was spent enjoying music by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jepp-son Jepp-son and Mark Sunday. |
