Show Notice Ordinance No. 121A An ordinance adopting and providing for the publication of amendments to the large public assemblies Ordinance No. 121. whereas, the health, peace, safety, convenience, order,, prosperity and general welfare wel-fare of the present and future inhabitants of Summit County, Coun-ty, Utah, has been promoted-by promoted-by the adoption of Ordinance' No. 121 relating to Large Public Assemblies, and Whereas, the 3oard of County Commissioners has deemed that certain amendments amend-ments to Ordinance No. 121 will further enhance the health, safety, and welfare of the present and future inhabitants of Summit County. Coun-ty. Now, therefore, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Summit, State of Utah, ordain as follows: Section 1. The following amendments to Ordinance No. 121 (Large Public Assemblies Ass-emblies (are hereby enacted) a Paragraph (e) of Chapter 3 is amended to read as follows: Physicians or Emergency Medical Technicians (E.M.T.'s) licensed to practice prac-tice in the State of Utah sufficient to provide the medical care for the maxi- mum number of people to be assembled at the rate of at least one physician or E.M.T. for every 1,500 people, together with an enclosed covered structure where treatment may be rendered, and at least one emergency ambulance available avail-able for use at all time; at least one E.M.T. or physician physi-cian will be required for each assembly: (b) The last paragraph of Chapter 4 is amended to read as follows: The application shall include in-clude the cash deposit required in Chapter 3 (m) herein and the license fee required in Chapter (b) herein. Said deposit and license fee shall be paid in cash, certified check or money order. (c) Chapter 5 is amended to read as follows: No alcoholic beverage, including beer, may be sold, dispensed or permitted to be consumed or brought to a public assembly ground. To insure that no alcoholic beverage, including includ-ing beer, is permitted at the public assembly, the applicant appli-cant will be required to: (1) Ban coolers, thermos bottles, jugs, flasks and other containers which are commonly used to transport or carry alcoholic beverages; (2) Provide at least two security , guards at each entrance to the public assembly to restrict alcoholic beverages from coming into the assembly grounds; (3) Print on tickets to the public assembly and include in advertisements promoting the public assembly that no alcoholic beverages including includ-ing beer, will be permitted at the assembly grounds. Section 2. Three copies of said Amendments shall be filed in the office of the County Clerk of Summit County, Utah, and may be examined at any time during office hours of said County Clerk. Section 3. Except as modified herein, the remaining remain-ing provisions of Ordinance No. 121 shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon publication in the Summit County Bee and the Park Record, newspapers published in and having general circulation in Summit Sum-mit County.
