Show Stars Shine In Celebrity Classic The Osmonds said "Let there be stars to ski in our United States Ski Team Crlebrity Classic," and last week there were stars, and in abundance. They could be seen, every day on Claimjumper run at the Park City Resort as they skied to earn money to support the U.S. Ski Team. Although the final totals are not yet in, the Osmonds estimate they raised approximately approxi-mately a quarter of a million dollars to support the team, and their bid next year for the gold at the winter Olympics. The skiing ability of the participants was definitely varied, ranging all the way from Stein Ericksen to Connie Stevens and Jan Michael Vincent, both of whom snowplowed down the race course since they had only been on skis a handtul of times. But, according to the celebrities, a good time was had by all. The extravanganze included includ-ed a party every night, two of which were open to the public, at such exalted places as Stein Ericksen's Lodge, Deer Valley, the Rusty Nail and the Yarrow. Big name entertainment appeared at each.
