C" I v - '- A window sill stacked with Vienna Sausage cans and an older man and his sister are the subject sub-ject matter of a new play, THE WINDOW, by Nancy C. Wilcox, to be presented by the University Univer-sity of Utah Theatre Department May 4 through 8 in the Babcock Theatre. A winner of the Utah State Division of Fine Arts Playwrit-ing Playwrit-ing Competition for 1974-75, THE WINDOW deals with the public and private worlds of Axel and Verda and the 'almost-real" world of their innermost, intimate inti-mate rituals. E. T. Smith, a Ph.D. candidate candi-date in Theatre at the University Univer-sity of Utah, directs THE WINDOW. WIN-DOW. Scenic Designer is Tom Simitzes, with lighting by Gitti Javedani, and costumes by Robin Rob-in Worley. Melanie Smith is Production Pro-duction Stage Manager. THE WINDOW features Robert Nathan Packer as Axel and Liz Barlow as Verda, with Craig James as David and Andrea Myntti as Dawn.
