Show USSA MEET HERE THIS WEEKEND This weekend, the Park City Ski Club is sponsoring the thirty-seventh thirty-seventh Annual Convention of the Intermountain Division of the United States Ski Association. Between 50 and 60 delegates, with an additional 25-30 guests are expected from ski clubs in Utah. Idaho and Wyoming. The convention is important to those involved with junior ski racing programs because rules and policy are up for changes. This is the first year Park City has hosted the affair. Additionally, the various committees com-mittees of the many-pronged USSA will report. These reports will cover such matters as public affairs and public lands (the USSA's relationship with the Forest Service, recreation and citizens races, nordic competition and citizen's cross-country, veteran's, vet-eran's, certification, and Alpine and freestyle programs. Park City's Bob Marsh will report on the coaches system and how to upgrade the development of younger skiers through more advanced technical coaching. Other local ski people involved are Buddy Waldman, talking about USSA Ski Week, Ted Armengol reporting on Alpine Certification of Officials, and Phil Jones on area operations. Each registered delegate at the convention will receive a complimentary com-plimentary day pass for next season at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, Snow-bird, Sun Valley, Jackson-Teton Village, and Grand Targhee. Each club may send one voting delegate for the first 15 members and one more for each additional 50. .
