The organization has 830 members and represents most of the slate's paid firemen. The principal issue discussed during the two day talks was the recently passed Senate bill which gives Utah firemen the right to collectively bargain for municipal contract's. With their new right, firemen will have to reassess their positions and plan future courses of action. The paid Utah firemen are linked with the International Association of Fire Fighters which has an AFL-CIO AFFILIATION. AFFIL-IATION.
