Orrin Hatch, Utah flew in by helicopter to speak at the ground breaking ceremonies Wednesday afternoon for the Park City Cultural and Learning Center. The multimillion dollar convention conven-tion and cultural complex, phase one of a total project, is slated to open this fall. It is on Utah Highway 248, directly across the road from the newly-completed Park City High School. Roads, underground utilities and some landscaping are already completed. Western Woodlands will operate oper-ate and market the complex with Lonny Adams, president; Gordon Sloan, vice president, and Janet Casey, marketing and sales director. They will formulate a program that will attract business and trade conventions as well as University of Utah conferences and cultural programs. |
