Show Mark Lindsay and Patti Prince "Expressions '77!" The ParentTeacherStudent Association presented "Expressions "Expres-sions 77" at Park City High School Wednesday April 13. The Student Entertainment Showcase featured 18 different performances performanc-es by students at the high school. Songs, piano solos, gymnastics, dramatic readings, one-act plays, and rock and roll were included on the program. Mark Lindsay and Patti Prince were hosts for the evening. It turned out to be an entertaining evening as many of the students who participated demonstrated talent and poise on stage. It was interesting to see the wide range of interests from a comedic rendition of "The Midnight Mid-night Ride of Paul Revere" by Geneo Parraglio to an impressive piano solo of "Moonlight Sonata" by Kirk Dearden. The auditorium at the high school was nearly packed as students, parents, and teachers evidenced their enjoyment with loud applauses after each performance perfor-mance throughout the program. The mechanics involved in producing a full evening of entertainment, such as presented Wednesday night, is certainly no easy feat. All of those who helped to make this student showcase so successful should be commended from the performers themselves to the production crew. The proceeds for "Expressions 77" will be awarded to a senior at Park City High School to be used for a scholarship. |
