Show Club Cabanas Plans were revealed this week for 180 units to be built in three phases surrounding the Park City Racquet Club now rapidly taking shape in Holiday Ranch. The Racquet Club Cabanas are being developed by Vic Ayers and Dick and Enoch Smith and represent a planned unit development develop-ment of duplexes, triplexes and four-plexes. Plans drawn up by Spence Smith, depict an attractive town house style architecture with buildings carefully placed around ponds and streams affording an optimum use of open space. Racquet Club developer Rick Becker explained that the main difference between the proposed units and standard condominiums is that individual owners, have title to the ground immediately underneath their unit. In condo minium developments, the ground is normally owned in common. Mr. Becker said he hopes to be able to sell the two story dwellings off the blue prints this winter and begin construction on at least 40 of the units in the spring. The price for an individual unit has been set in the mid-fortys. Included in the price will be a mebership to the Racquet Club, as well as furniture. Mr. Becker indicated that the indoor tennis facilities at the club should be completed within five weeks, with the club house scheduled to open early in February. He also said that about 40 percent of the memberships made available this year have been sold and that members will not be assessed dues until the club house is completed. |
