A very sad accident was reported this past week concerning con-cerning Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Offeret, former Parkites who live in Cottonwood Heights. They with another couple were deer hunting in the Chalk Creek area. They had gone in the early morning morn-ing hours when the ground was frozen with no problems, but by afternoon it was very slick and muddy and impossible impos-sible to steer the jeep. They overturned and both were pinned under the jeep for sometime. Ray Wright and two friends helped to get them out and to the Dee Hospital in Ogden. Both suffered broken backs. They were later transferrei to the Cottonwood Hospital, under the care of Dr. Oniki. Ralph has been released and wearing a brace, but it will be some time yet before Betty will be released. Betty and Ralph are well known in Park City and their many friends wish them the very best in the near future. Jimmy Goo and family are back home again and very much welcomed by their many friends and customers. Good to have them back.
