Show Ski Trophy Series Coining be awarded to the highest point earners from racers' three best individual finishes finish-es in slalom, giant slalom and downhill. Park City The fifth edition of the Canadian-American Ski Trophy Series will be the focal point of all promising North American alpine competitors com-petitors from its opening race January 3 to the 1975 finals February 8. The top competitive circuit cir-cuit on the continent, the Can-Am Series traditionally traditional-ly serves as the final stepping stepp-ing stone which boosts outstanding out-standing ski racers into the highest levels of international internation-al alpine competition. The 1975 Can-Am Series will be no exception. Under men's coach Martin Georgian Peaks and Blue Mountain, Ont., for two slaloms January 13-14, while the women compete in two slaloms on the same dates at Mont Ste. Saveur in Quebec. Queb-ec. The men and women regroup re-group and return to the US. for a giant slalom at Winter Park, Colo., January 19. The Roch Cup will again be a Can-Am Can-Am meet, with a downhill and slalom to be held in Aspen, As-pen, Colo., January 23-25. Double downhill meets follow with two downhills at Jackson Hole, Wyo., January 30-31 and two more at Ross- land, B.C., February 6-7. The Can-Am finals for 1975 will be a giant slalom at Mt. Baldy-Osoyoos, B.C. on February 8. The 1975 Can-Am Series overall titles will go to the man and woman who earn the greatest number of total points from finishes in the top 10 in Can-Am events, based on the World Cup point system. An individual's points in the parallel event and his -three best finishes in each of the three alpine disciplines disciplin-es will be calculated for his overall total.
