Show Park Cily Sewer Line System Is Having lis Picture Taken Park City's Sewer line system is having its picture taken. City officials are currently taking positive steps to solve the serious problem of water infiltration into the sewer system. The problem reaches its most critical stage duringthe spring thaw. City officials have ordered a complete Infiltration Study. John Probasco, of Busch and Gudgell Engineering, consulting engineer for Park City is in charge of the study. This week television cameras are being lowered into and sent through the main sewer lines. The camera pictures are monitored and breaks or faults in the lines can be observed. Following completion of the study Park City will be in a position to complete application for federal funds to make needed repairs or changes. According to Mr. Probasco the current study will meet requirements re-quirements of the Federal Environmental Protection Agency. The engineer indicated that no serious problems exist at present with respect to culinary water lines in the city. |
