Show Pay rJoi Yet Due The next regular session of the Park City Council is scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at City Hall. Starting time for the meeting meet-ing will be 7:30 p.m. In another item of interest inter-est City Manager Wayne Mathews stated a misunderstanding misunder-standing had arisen regarding regard-ing assessments being made in conjunction with the Lowell Low-ell Avenue and Main Street Improvement Districts. In a recent letter to property prop-erty owners who will be concerned con-cerned with the two districts a dollar amount was given on what the proposed assessment as-sessment would be. According to Mathews, payment by July 15 is not an absolute requirement. Another An-other deadline date for the payment of money will be set. On July 29, 30, and 31, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Wed-nesday the City Council will sit as a Board of Equalization Equal-ization and review each one of the two districts. The council will remain in session on each of the dates between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Purpose of the session will be to hear and consider any objections and correct any proposed assessments which the board may determine unequal or unjust. Any person whose property prop-erty is assessed has tiie right to appear and object to the proposed assessment. Boundaries of the districts and detailed explanations on work to be accomplished are published in detail in Public Notices printed on Page Seven of this week's Record. |
