Show Eight Enter Fair Queen Contest College this all. She enjoys spurts, art, and sewing. She was a cheerleader at South Summit and class secretary. She plans to use an art exhibit ex-hibit for her talent. "On Top of the World" is the theme for the MissSum-mit MissSum-mit County Scholarship Pageant. Pag-eant. Miss Summit County Scholarship Pageant entries are: daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lambert from Kam-as, Kam-as, is a Senior at South Summit High School. She has had five years of piano training, train-ing, has lieen a cheerleader a class officer, and she is an attendant for Miss Kamas Valley Fiesta Queen. U . 1 Miss Kim Maxfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald S. Maxfield of Park. City. Kim was graduated in 1974 from Park City High School and wants to enter nursing or beauty school. While at Park City she received re-ceived a 4. scholastic rating, rat-ing, and participated in school play and pep club activities. Her hobbies are sewing and cooking. She will perform a modern jazz dance. Kathy Boyer, 18, is the daughter of Mrs. Ella Boyer of Hoytsville. A 1974 graduate grad-uate of Nortli Summit High School where she was active as drill mistress, Student Body Historian and worked on the student council. She received a scholarship to further her education at Trade Tech inSalt Lake City. She will demonstrate her sewing techniques as her talent. Miss Dana Crandall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Crandall, of Peoa is 18 years old, a graduate of South Summit HighSchool, is now attending Summer School at BYU. She was very active in high school participating par-ticipating in the band, drill team, FFA Sweetheart of 1973 just to mention a few of her activities. Susan will be a senior at South Summit High School where her school activities have included cheerleader, FFA attendant, involved in ' FHA. activities and she is an attendant to the Miss Kamas Valley Fiesta Queen.Shehas been studying piano for five years and will use this for her talent. Other contestants will appear ap-pear in next week's paper. The, contest will be July 13, 1974 at the North Summit High School. The public is invited at 2:30 p.m. to watch talent and evening gown competition and at 8 to enjoy the evening show. There will be a $1.00 per person scholarship donation, plan to attend, we're looking forward to seeing you. This pageant is put on for the county by the County Commissioners, the Summit County Fair Board, and all our Summit County business and organizations. We appreciate their cooperation co-operation and their interest. i Miss Debra Diane Comer, ; daughter of Mrs. Thelma i Comer, is a senior at North Summit High School. She has been a high school twirler for two years. She especially likes swimming and horseback horse-back riding. A baton twirling routine will display her talent. Miss Jill Flinders, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Flinders of Oakley was graduated from South Summit Sum-mit High School in 1974 and plans to attend Weber State Miss Christine Kuminer of Park City is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Kummer. She is a Senior Sen-ior at Park City High School where she is the Drill Team President, a Girl's Stater, and assembly director. She has been active in 4-H for several years receiving awards for her outstanding achievement. She enjoys water-color art, swimming swim-ming and horseback riding.
