Show Chamber News Notes . . . Logo Contest Prizes Announced; Membership Drive Begins Mar. 1 Lake Tahoe. The Chamber would like to welcome them to Park City . and invite them to join the rest of us on March 14. With the deadline for a new Chamber Logo design only a week away the organizational committee has announced the prizes for the best entry will include $25 cash plus a dinner for two at the Claim Jumper. Please have your entries into Box 758 or 434 Main Street by March 1st. Be sure to mark March 14 on your calendars. That's kick-off day for the long awaited Membership Mem-bership Drive. Things will begin with a General Gen-eral Membership Meeting where there will be several important im-portant announcements as well as the opportunity to sign up for committees. Watch next week's Record for the exact time and place. The Board of Directors heard preliminary reports from the five standing committees at their March 7 meeting. Jack Green and Kirk Felds-man, Felds-man, of the Park City Institute of Arts and Science, were also on hand to both inform the Chamber of their upcoming plans and solicit their support. sup-port. Long-range plans include the construction of theatres, an assembly as-sembly hall and living quarters for visiting and resident scholars. On schedule for this summer is a cinema series of ten films, concerts, lectures, exhibits and possibly a dance theatre. The Board was enthusiastic and offered their support and cooperation on behalf of the Chamber. It was also agreed that Ron Purdom will be in charge of casino night again this year and he is looking for volunteers to decorate and work that night. Anyone interested should call 649-9891.
