GEO A LOWE COMPANY DECIDES ON A BIG STRUCTURE new home will be twice as large as the destroyed one J W abbott manager of aco A howo company when called upon by a represent cativo this morning for a statement concerning their plans for the erection of a new building stated we are now fully decided as to what kind of a building we will construct our new building will be about twice as large as the old one which was destroyed jn the recent fire it will be four stories high modern in every particular and will have many new features and improvements our old one did not have we will have alie same frontage on washing ton avenue but the new building will be feet long which Is considerably longer than the former structure the construction will bo ot the best brick heavy limbers and material known as slow burning construction all the openings in the walls win bo made of fireproof fire proof material the work on the anuw building will begin just as soon as some material which is ordered and wo are expecting it any day we began entering a new stock of goods on the morning of the big fire and have been ordering and receiving goods ever since goods have been coming in so vapidly during the past few days that we have had to erect temporary warehouses which can be used until the new building is completed in a wry short time our stock will be as complete as lt ever was we are opening up our new stock or at least a part of it in the building three doors south of the utah national bank by tall wo expect to be in our new quarters and will be better equipped than we ever were one of the local lumber companies has received an order for feet of lumber from the geo A lowe company
