Show LABOR MEN ELECT ' OFFICERS FOR YEAR ( R. E. Currie it Chosen Preeident of . the Salt Lake Federation. j Salt Lake, July 9 The Salt Lake Federation of Labor met at Federation Federa-tion hall, Friday night and elected officers for the ensuing year. Tho various committees of the organization organiza-tion were also elected. The list of officers and committees follows: I R. E. Currie, president; Theodore j Marx, vice president; A. H. Sixth district, with headquarters head-quarters at San Francisco, and President Pres-ident Whallen of the district council of Electrical Workers from Cheyenne, were visitors at the meeting of the federation and both delivered ad- ' dresses. Mr. Cole, in his speech, re- I ferred to the strike of the brewery men in Los Angeles, spoke of the progress It was making, and added that if it were not union beer that was eold in the "Angelic City" it culd be a dry town. |
