Show REESE S1I6S AT THE HIGHJCiOL David Reese, one of the leading tenors of the state of Utah, sang before an enthusiastic audience In the high school Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Reese will appear In the leading role of the light opera, "Ermine," which Is to be given by the High School alumni at the Ogden theater, Friday and Saturday nights. Mr. Reese was In splendid volco and dang with great effect. "I'll Sing Thee Songs of Arafy." by Clay: "O Happv Day," by Goetzo; "Drink To Me Only With Thine Kyes" by John- i son and then sang as an encore "I Think of Thee Sweet Margareta" by Mcyer-IIelmund. Mr. Rcse was ac-companied ac-companied by Miss Hunter, supervisor supervi-sor of music In the city schools Tho various numbers wore thcp-'jgh!y enjoyed en-joyed by the students and the faculty. The coming opera promises to le one of the greatest successes of the season sea-son and there has been a large advance ad-vance sale of luc tickets. |
