Show BALLINCER I COPTS Secretary of Interior Praises the Former President Chicago, July 8. Secretary of the Interior Bollinger, who arrived today , on a tour of Inspection of public lands, was asked If he had heard the report that Mr. Roosevelt would support sup-port the senatorial candidacy of Congressman Con-gressman Polndexter of Washington. "I don't know what the attitude of Mr. Roosevelt will be," he said, "but , I do know that any action he taken J will be one that he Is convinced . la Tor the good of the country and that he will go through with It as earnestly earn-estly as he does with everything." As to Poindexler's politics, the secretary sec-retary said they were not Republican or Democratic. "If they are not Socialistic, 1 don't i know what they are." Mr. Balllnger spoke informally, at a luncheon given by the. Hamilton club. |
