Show GOOD ROADS AiMTOISTS SALT LAKE. Dee. 11. Good roads, n question doso to the hearts of tbe putolsts, will be given ample discussion discus-sion Wednesday night, when the members mem-bers of the Automobile Club of Utnh find their friends sit down at their r.nnual bnnquet, which will be held at the Commercial club. President Quigley has arranged for a number of prominent auto men to speak on this subject, and in order that their upiioats for bettor highways may not be futile, ho bas sent out invitations in-vitations to Governor Spry and other officials, including mayors and county commissioners, to be present. The thief executives of Salt Lake and Og-cVjj, Og-cVjj, tbe local city council and tho commissioners of Weber and Davis counties are asked to come, and the club is in hopes that they will be there to listen to tho pleas for good roads. Special fctress will be laid upon the reed of improving the road from this city to Ogden, The auto owners claim that tills highway is in a dilapidated condition and that it is the most trav-fkd trav-fkd road in the state. Davis county lias done considerable work this fnll near Farmington, 'but there still are ruony portions of the road that are in a bad way. This will be discussed with the Davis county officials and means of. co-operation between autolsts and tho commissioners will be devised. Wednesday night's feast is not alone for members of the Automobile Club of Utah.
