President bmith offered the dedicatory dedi-catory prayer in addition to delivering deliver-ing the dldcourse dunng the exercises und making a brief talk to the hihool children in the afternoon. More than twenty-five prominent officials and churchmen of tbls city attended tho exercises and talks were made by President Joseph F. Smith, John Henry Hen-ry Smith. D, A. Smith. James Ward. L W. Shurtllff. C. V. Middle-ton. T. U. Evans and Charles C. Richards. Went In Special Car. The church officials from Salt Lako City arrived in this cii at 'J:V) o'clock and were met by tho local officials offi-cials ami churchmen of the Weber and Ogden stakes. The delegation, then numbering about fifty, boardel a special car and proceeded to North Ogden over tho Rapid Transit corn-panj's corn-panj's lines. Arriving at North Ogden about 0:30, the party was met by .1 largo number of the slake officials and church people. His statement was very compart, but showed in a general sense all that had been accomplished by the enterprising church people of the North Ogden ward. According to the report. It was exactly thirty-threo months from the time the first meeting was held until every cent of Indebtedness h.id been swept away. Cost of Remodeling, Of the $13,000 expended In remodeling remodel-ing the meeting house, $"i.500 was furnished fur-nished by the church and the remainder remain-der was subscribed by residents of the ward Following a koIo, tho largo audience listened to an excellent address b.
