Mj-3. Fowler's story ia a sad one. Her maiden name was Miss Nephino Broberg. While employed at tho hospital hos-pital sho met Joseph E. Fowler, also an employe. Later they were married mar-ried and still later removed to Salt Lalco, As tho yearn wont by a number num-ber of children came to them, and finally Fowler doseited his family, it is alleged, and went to Idaho. This was In 19US, and tho blow was a severe se-vere one to Mrs. Fowler, who was left with a number of children, whom sho was unablo to support. It la under-stood under-stood that her mind became ellghtly unsettled at that time, but her condl-' tion- did not warrant the olllccrs !a ' restraining her of her liberty. Fowlor was brought back from Idaho Ida-ho on a requisition and charged with neglecting his minor children. Tho information wa9 fouud faulty, however how-ever .and quashed, but Fowler was rearrested re-arrested and guvo bonds for his ap- " pearance. The caso is pending. Recently Mrs. Fowler's condition , ha become worse, and It Ls aald that she waa violent on Tuesday night, so much so, in fact, that It took several of her relatives to control her. f oo |
