Show MOOSE MAY BUILD A HOME At a' meeting of tho local order nf Moose last night forty-two new members mem-bers wero Initiated This makes the membership of the lodge about T.00 and tho members state that It will be 1,000 before the year Is over. The order is now contemplating the erection of a home, and, lo this end. a committee has been appointed to cure options on suitable sltea. If they decide to build they will construct con-struct a modem buildinc and make It one of the most beautiful lodge q,uar ters in the city In case they do not build. It Is said, that they will likely lease the upper floor of the bulldlnpr to be erected by J. T. Hurst, on Hudson tfvenuV. It is claimed that the entire structure of the old skating rink, owned by Mr. Hurst and others, will be torn down anj an entirely new bulldlnp erected, with the east end fronting Hudson avenue and the west end Grant avenue. ave-nue. The foundation of the rink build Ing is heavy enouph tor a modern structure, suoh, as Mr. Hurst has in mind. The building will not be less than two stories hlsh and it will be made to comply with all the require ments of a modern business block. If the' building Is made three stories high, it Is probable that the third floor will be occupied by the Moose, if they do not erect a building of their own |
