Mrs. Jeppe-soii Jeppe-soii Is suing the Oregon Short Lino company for $1",.C100, alleged to be due for personal Injuries sustained by an accident that occurred on the defendant defend-ant company's road February S. 191", near Twenty second street. Ogden. The complaint states that while riding rid-ing in a certain motor car, operated by tho Oregon Short Line compauy, on her way to Prlgham Clf, the mo tor car collided with a passenger irain belonging to the same compauy. throwing the plaintiff violently against the seals of the car, greatly bruising her body and Causing a nervous ner-vous t-hock Irom which the plaintiff is suffering permanent and irreparable irrepara-ble injuries. The railroad company denies, generally, gen-erally, the allegations of the complaint com-plaint and sets up a counter claim to the effect that the defendant company com-pany had a settlement wtlh the plaintiff plain-tiff for damages on February 9, the day following the alleged accident, giving her the sum of $20 as payment In full for the damages she claimed. It is anticipated that the trial of the case will consume wthe greater portion of the day. |
