JOSEPH WEST LIVES IN BRIGHAM CITY. 1 A gentleman called at the Standard office this morning and asked, "Who is this Joe West? Is he a big taxpayer in Ogden? What are his interests in Ogden? I understand his home is in Brigham City." Of course the foregoing questions are proper. On looking up the tax roll, we find that Jos. A. West paid taxes at the county treasurer's treas-urer's office to the amount of $5.25, which includes taxes of the city, county, schools and state. From this it would seem that Mr. West is not much of a taxpayer. tax-payer. But the important part of all is that he lives in Brigham City and has his home there. So it is a Brigham City man who is fighting Ogden having more water. We thought the sensitive Joseph had found charms more charming outside Ogden City,
