Show TEMPLE WORKERS TO HAVE DiY'S OUTING SALT LAKEfl June 29. To retrace for a distance the old trail over which tho pioneers traveled ou the last stretch from the eastern plains through the mountain fastnesses to this valley, the temple workers of the Salt' Lake temple and those who come to do work In thitt building will take part in an excursion up Emigration canyon on Saturday, July 2. The outing out-ing will mark the Becond occasion of the kind since the dedication of the Salt Lake temple In 1893. A year after af-ter the temple wasj comploted President Presi-dent Snow invited th temple workers work-ers and their friends to an outing to Drlgham City, Round valley and neighboring places In Blx Elder county, coun-ty, where a most enjoyable time was had It Is proposed to make the present outing an event fully as enjoyable en-joyable as was the last occasion sixteen six-teen years ago. It Is expected that the first presidency and members of the quorum of the twelve will be present. The arrangements for the outing are In the hands of B. Morris Young, to whom those wishing to attend should apply for tickets, or at the temple gate house. The special train for Emigration canyon will leae Mt. Olivet ot 9 o'clock In the morning. There will be another regular train, however, at 11 a. in. Special ratC9 have, been made for the occasion. Everybody is requested to take picnic. The outing will be for the regular workers in the temple and those who come to do work In the temple. |
