Show DANCING PARTY. Miss Klttie Fitzgerald was hostess ! at a delightful dancing partv at the Hermitage on Monday evening, given in honor of Miss Grace ;Siilllyan of Salt Lake. FELL-NIEHAUS. The beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Fell was richly and tastily decorated dec-orated last evening for the marrlago of their daughter Miss Ooldlc Fell to Mr. Edward E. Nlehaus, of Berkeley, California. The hall and parlor were festooned with white roses, lilies, carnations car-nations and ferns. The library was decorated with pink roses, carnutlons and ferns and the dining room was arranged In red and green, roses and carnations being used lavishly, and in the center of the table a largo bouquet bou-quet of red American beauty rose3 was prettily arranged with streamers stream-ers of broad red ribbon, upon a largo cluny laco centerpiece. At seven o'clock the bridal party entered to the strains of tho march from LohengTin, played by Misses Loretta Malone, pianist, and Miss Geneviove Malone, violinist. The bride gowned in a beautiful moric chiffon chif-fon cloth creation trimmed with prlncepa and duchess lace, was attended at-tended by her sister, Miss E. Winifred Wini-fred Fell, who wore a dre&s of French white embroidery. The bride carried car-ried a large shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of tho valley, and wore a wreath of lilies of the valley. val-ley. Tho groom, in evening dress, was attended by Mr. Arthur O Fell, brother of the bride. The bride was given In marriage by her father, after aft-er which tho ring ceremony was spoken spok-en by Rev. John Edward Carver. During the ceremony, the Misses Malone Ma-lone played softly tho "Flower Song," by Lange. After the congratulations were received, re-ceived, a dainty wedding supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Nlehaus departed last evening for a tour, which will extend to the eastern coast cities, and will bo at home at 24 Plaza Drive, Berkeley, Ber-keley, California, after August 15 Among the out-of-town guests were Mrs. Nlehaus and Mrs. Lllley of Berkeley. The wedding Is the happy culmination or a prcity romance which commenced on an Alaskan trip three years ago. The young couple were tho recipients recipi-ents of many beautiful and expensive remembrances. About fifty guests were present. j MISS MOYES ENTERTAINS. . Miss Lucy Moyes entertained a party par-ty of young people last evening at her home, Thirty-second and Wall avenue, an enjoyable feature of the evening being the "candy pull." which was productive of the usual merry laughter and amusing incidents. 1 An orchestra composed of the Mlsso3 Hattio Niles, Susie Simlstc-r, Hortense Slmlster nud Arthur Hwshnell and vocal numbers by Miss Eva Rose and Robert Paine furnished much appreciated appre-ciated music and games and social recreation rounded out the evening's pleasure. Miss Lorelta Whalcn entertained a party of twenty young ladles on Thursday evening for Miss Grace Sullivan. A trolley ride to Og len canyon was enjoyed In the early evening, even-ing, after which the party returned to the home of Miss Whalon where music, vocal and instrumental, the serving of refreshments and a pleasant pleas-ant social hour rounded out the pleasant pleas-ant evening. Dr. and Mrs. Edward Rich will entertain en-tertain at a dinner party at Lewis' camp in Ogden canyon this evening. The affair will be given In honor of the d octor's friends In the medical fraternity. Mr. Franklin Beck and Miss Emily A. Rice were quietly married at the homo of Rev. Stewart, who was scheduled to deliver h!s lecture, "Hitched to a Star." at the Baptist church this morning, Is delayed by a lato train and th lecture Is again postponed to be held at the church tomorrow to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock sharp. Miss Grace Sullivan, who has been the guest of Miss Kittle Fitzgerald, during the past week, returned yesterday yes-terday to her home In Salt Lake. |
